y university-based education is focused on archaeology and anthropology. Not only does this give me the tools to be a professional archaeologist, but it grounds me in the scientific method, data analysis, and familiarity with a broad range of subject materials in both the sciences and liberal arts.
While I led seminars in archaeological science and tutored liberal arts students on science (and, incidentally, taught martial arts), it was my professional experiences and student-focused approaches that brought me into instructional design and methodologies.
